Phillip Island & Great Ocean Road Tour  (3 Day)

Multi Day Private Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Departs from your Melbourne Hotel/Accommodation in a comfy air conditioned vehicle. Your personal driver and experienced local guide for the day will greet you personally and whisk you off towards Phillip Island.

En-route you will stop off at a popular Local Wildlife Park, to discover some native wildlife, and then the chance to get up close and personal to kangaroos and wallabies, whilst hand feeding them in their natural environment.

Then, onto Phillip island where you head over Churchill island - a famous old heritage working farm. Here you can take a stroll around their historical grounds or watch one of their many farm activities (such as sheep shearing, working dogs demonstration or whip cracking).

*Currently Churchill Island is only available seasonally. When not available, we take guests to view a different part of the island.

The Koala Conservation Centre is next, where you can explore the tree-top boardwalks and see koalas up close in their natural habitat.

Wander the island's extensive trails with your guide, through the natural Australian bushland and enjoy the abundant bird life, whilst trying to spot wild Wallabies. A visit to the nearby Swan Lake Animal Sanctuary is also likely to thrill.

Dinner (own cost) stop at the Nobbies Centre, home to Australia's largest Seal population and Scenic Coastal Boardwalk, before making our way to island's main attraction - The Penguin Parade!

Then relax and sit back, as we travel back to your accommodation in Melbourne.

* Overnight accommodation in Melbourne CBD (own expense). In order to cut down your personal travel time, we recommend booking either The Pan Pacific (5 Star) or Novotel (4 Star) located at South Wharf.

Day 2

Departs 10am from your Melbourne Hotel/Accommodation where we will whisk you off towards the start of the Great Ocean Road to get ahead of the tourist traffic. We stop at all the main highlights of this coastal section.

Bells Beach, one of the world's most famous surfing beaches and home of the Rip Curl Pro is our first stop.

With an extra day to explore The Great Ocean Road, you are treated to a Kangaroo Buggy Tour on private property with a local kangaroo expert. This is a unique environment for the kangaroo's, whom are are 100% wild, but are very used to close human interaction.

Split Point Lighthouse follows, with a great vantage point over gorgeous deserted beaches.
You then pass by the Memorial Arch where your guide will delve into the history behind the road, followed by a search of the Kennet River area for wild parrots and koala's!

Finally you will arrive in Apollo Bay, in the late afternoon where you will stay overnight in your chosen accommodation (own expense).

Day 3

Pick up from your chosen Apollo Bay accommodation. Enjoy a breakfast in one of the local cafe's, before a Guided Rainforest Tour. Then some Scenic Touring through the magnificent Great Otway National Park, where we stop at lookouts, waterfalls and wild koala habitats.

Lunch stop in the coastal hamlet of Port Campbell, before you continue our journey, stopping for a guided walk through a magical River Mangrove setting.

You will then head straight to Gibson Steps and Loch Ard Gorge, before finally arriving at the Twelve Apostles where you will have the chance to upgrade your tour experience by taking a personal helicopter joy flight over the rock formations below (additional expense).

And if, after all that, you still have the energy, then we will whisk you off to 3 more key rock formations - London Bridge, The Arch and The Grotto, before we begin our slow journey back to Melbourne via picturesque farming communities.
