Phillip Island & Mornington Peninsula Tour (3 Day)
Multi Day Private Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Departs from your Melbourne Hotel/Accommodation in a luxury air conditioned vehicle (departure times vary daily). Your personal driver and experienced local guide will greet you personally and whisk you off towards Phillip Island.
En-route you will stop off at a popular Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens and then a local Wildlife Park, to meet some of Australia's iconic animals, including a unique opportunity to handfeed kangaroo's in a natural environment.
Then onto Phillip Island where you head over to Churchill island, a famous old heritage working farm. Here you can experience some old traditional farming techniques, such as sheep shearing, working dogs demonstration and whip cracking.
*Currently Churchill Island is only available seasonally. When not available, we take guests to view a different part of the island.
The Koala Conservation Centre is next, where you can explore the tree-top boardwalks and see koalas up close in their natural habitat.
A short stop at The Nobbies Centre, boasting a stunning boardwalk platform, as well as being home to Australia's largest fur seal population.
The Penguin Parade is the main tour highlight. Take your seats and watch one of nature's most incredible sights. Overnight accommodation - on Phillip Island (own expense).
Day 2
Pick up from your chosen accommodation We kick off the morning with some wild wallaby spotting in a unique natural setting, then onto one of the island's most pristine beaches. We then experience another parade - this time it is the 'Pelican Parade' ( who are determined not to be out done by the penguins!).
Stop for lunch at one of San Remo's quirky street cafe's, and then on the road back towards Mornington Peninsula. We stop at a well known Outdoor Sculpture Park, a winery (with Cellar Door Tastings), Cape Schanck Lighthouse and boardwalk, finishing at The Peninsula's Hot Springs.
Day 3
Pick up from your chosen Mornington Peninsula accommodation Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the fashionable town of Sorrento, before a walk through Point Nepean National Park.
Coffee stop in the coastal hamlet of Rye, before you climb aboard the recently refurbished Arthurs Seat Eagle (Gondola ride).
We visit the famous Brighton Beach Huts for that must have tourist photo, before slowly making our way back along the coast to Melbourne CBD.
